First, thanks to everyone who helped raise money for the fundraiser. We ended up raising $513 in total raffle sales. This was enough to bring the fee from $50 to $40 for everyone who pre-registered. And a BIG THANK YOU to those who donated prizes and who purchased raffle drawings.

So without further ado, the winners for the raffle are as follows:

Japan Relief Bake Sale Fundraiser

On Sunday 3/27, the church will hold a bake sale to help raise funds for Japan relief. We need volunteers to help bake treats, cupcakes, cookies and more! Please show up to church at 9am this Saturday.

Also, please look out for a notification from your small group leaders about what baking supplies to bring for this Friday’s ARK meeting.

Raffle Fundraising for Retreat

Raffle submission deadline extended to April 1!

It’s time to start gearing up for our retreat in April. To help with funding for this year’s retreat, we are holding a raffle fundraiser. So far, we have fantastic prizes to give away:

XBox360 4GB with Kinect
O-matic Boron Snowboard
$100 Gift Card to Gamestop
iPod Shuffle 2GB – Blue
Brother HL-2240 Laser Printer
$40 In-n-Out Gift Certificate

Cost of each entry will be as follows:

1 entry = $2
3 entries = $5

All entries will be placed into a database and winners will be randomly picked through Random.org. All entries must be submitted and fully paid for by ~~March 25~~ April 1, 2011. Winners will be chosen on the week of April 4, and will be contacted to retrieve their prize.

Action for Haiti

There is unbelievable devastation right now in Haiti, the western hemisphere’s poorest country. A 7.0 magnitude earthquake destroyed office buildings, homes, schools, hospitals, international aid headquarters, and many many others. The amount of destruction set this island nation back an entire generation.

Haiti is in so much need right now. We will discuss in tonight’s ARK meeting how we can and will do our part in extending our love through action.
