Earlier in April, we had our very first Ark/Rev(ivalution) joint worship night. It was the first time these two zones came together to worship together. College students, high school students, and middle school students all came together to worship as one body. It was a beauty thing to see.

Then we played some games. That was good too.

Not too long ago, we were treated to a visit by a few of our alumni. Chris, Andrew, Jonathan, Miranda, and Ugil were with us from the beginning back when Ark started in 2002. While Miranda and Ugil went on to join our college group here at the Garden, Christ/Andrew/Jonathan is now serving faithfully at another church.

It was such a treat to see everyone back together again. We spent a while reminiscing and walking down memory lane. God has really been good to Ark over the years.

After a long hard day of setting up dozens of tables and umbrellas, Christian, Michaela, and Robin chill out on “the boulder” in the brand new playground. Don’t they look so cool? They got some well-deserved rest…and they needed it because a few short hours later, they had to baby-sit a room full of kids for 5 hours!

ARK high schoolers got a special treat today as they embarked on a journey to downtown Los Angeles circa 1989 for a viewing of iconic ’80’s teen movie “Say Anything.” This venue features a nice “drive-in” atmosphere where viewers can camp out on the floor for this outdoor showing.

Another fantastic submission by Nathan…or maybe Nathan’s dad…? Recently, a few members of the Cho clan took a trip to the East Coast on a scouting mission…for colleges that is. It’s hard to believe our Nathan is already in his final year of high school! Boy, time flies.

Hope the trip was fun! Seems Nic’s enjoying himself though!

This week’s mobile pic comes from Nathan once again. But this time, all the way from Navajo Missions. The missions team spent 2 weeks in Arizona ministering to the residents of Leupp and Flagstaff. In this pic, Casey and Nathan are trying to look as normal as possible for the shot.

This week’s “Mobile Pic of the Week” comes from our very own artist extraordinaire, Nathan Cho. I’m not really sure what this is, as he didn’t provide a name for this work so I’ll just call it “Stars.” If anything, it makes for a very nice desktop wallpaper, which is what this image is from anyway.
